Without Turbo Drying
Dishes normally dry by the residual heat contained in the crockery after the wash. Without Asko Turbo Drying the moisture will rain back down onto the dishes. This will create water spots and leave dishes wet.
On dishwashers without Asko Turbo Drying the door should be opened after the wash to release this steam so moisture doesn’t condensate on dishes.
How Turbo Drying works
1. After the wash is complete the Turbo Drying fan comes on and draws in hot steam.
2. Moisture is removed before it can cool and drip back onto crockery.
3. The moisture is then condensed and directed back into the filter.
Asko Turbo Drying Express
The D5896FIXXL and D5896SSXXL dishwashers also feature Turbo Drying Express. By pumping hot air into the dishwasher, program times are shortened by around 30 minutes, making light work of plastic items.
